Haaaaaaaaaaaa
Woah. This is the Blogger Create Post page. It's been down for the whole of yesterday. Was it just my com or was it part of the Taiwan earthquake thing? Anyway, it couldn't have been of a better timing because my mood wasn't exactly one of the best yesterday. And I actually blogged an entry on Notepad. So I'm going to post it anyway. Cbox picked a good time to be down too, because now you can't tag and tell me I'm wrong. Ha ha too bad.Typed yesterday >>>
Maybe this is the worst time to come online and attempt to blog, because for some reason, Blogger is lagging like mad, and Cbox is not loading at all. All other sites that are not blogs are loading like normal. So I was thinking maybe I should blog about what I want to blog about another time. And then I realised I can't hold it any longer so I've to use Notepad, and so I'm typing at Notepad now.
But then now, I don't know where to start.
Uh, why don't I do a detailed recount. Don't give me that look, I'm not Weisiang but I CAN remember details okay.
Today:
I headed to Hougang in a cab to get my beloved shoes from
But then again, who cares if I'm late. No one cares nothing about anybody being late for trainings anymore right. You'll see why.
I got onto bus 72 and reached school at 8.59am! WOW and I actually TRIED, MADE AN EFFORT to TRY to walk faster a little so that I wouldn't be late. I reached, and guess what! Training starts at 9.30am instead of 9am because of the most fabulous reason in the whole wide world!
Pat Goh's afraid that the students can't wake up in time for a 9am training! WOW! Isn't that just such a great reason?! You see, if you happen to live in a faraway place like Woodlands and you take an hour to come to school, you've to wake up at 7.30am in order to make it for a 9am training. And waking up at 7.30am instead of 8am will mean a very significant half an hour less of sleep.
And in this half an hour of sleep, you can probably gain 0.0007% more energy so that you can perhaps put a little more heart into the warmup later? Yea, so for that little more heart into the warmup, training's delayed for half an hour. I so understand the purpose.
(Two paragraphs of rants and I've only covered the time? Man, this entry's going to be long.)
And well, I reached, and Jaslyn's already there. Ruth reached at around 9.15am and more people came by 9.30am. The Coach Of The Day, Mr Chong or whoever that is (I don't give a damn because I bet no one gives a damn too) came looking as if he's visiting the beach for a bicycle ride.
There were people playing in the court and those who can't play because there are no more courts sat by the pillar looking bored and counting down to lunch.
Earlier, Jeremy had told us that Fiona says she'll be late because she's having a headache. I was kind of shocked by the seriousness of her case of headache because I thought her usual reasons for not coming for training are things like she's having menses, or her legs feel like jelly, or maybe something more serious like her eyebrow twitched today so it's unlucky for her to leave home and things like that. I think this is the first case of a headache, so it should be perfectly understandable as well.
Oh and according to Jeremy, Fiona says she'll come at 10 plus. I tried to understand that you need one hour to wait for your headache to go away so that you're well enough to take a MRT but then no, I failed. Taking a pill called Panadol will take less than a minute. Even if you include the time taken to buy a packet of Panadol from your nearest pharmacy, tearing open the package, reading the instructions, pouring yourself a cup of water, and finally popping the pills into your mouth, it should take at most 20 minutes top. But considering the seriousness of the headache (since it causes someone to not be able to take a MRT), I shall try to understand it (though I still can't).
At 9.37am, 7 minutes into training, no one seems about to start doing the warmup which is obviously supposed to be done 7 minutes earlier. So I called out to the juniors and they stood in a circle, while the B Division, or supposedly those who have trained for at least two years and SHOULD know what they SHOULD do, continued to play in the courts. And Yes, that includes the dear captain Jeremy as well. (smiles sweetly) I felt like going home.
I had to call out to Jeremy not once, not twice but THRICE in order to will him into doing warmups. Man, no wonder he's the captain. So high above that he seems like a prince to me sometimes. I wonder who's the princess then?
By the third call, Jeremy finally came out of court but for some reason, refused to join the circle of Sec ones for the warmup. Who knows why? Maybe he's lazy to even walk the three steps that is seperating him from the Sec ones. I don't know, why don't you ask Mr Prince?
At 9.41am, Linda, Brenda, Jonathan and Melvin were still playing in the court because of another good and understandable reason. They are playing a match and Jonathan insists that since the current score is 15-15 and they only have six more points to earn, it's perfectly understandable for them to be selfish and let the others wait for them. Oh wait, they didn't ask for others to wait for them. No one cares for no one in trainings anymore yea, I kind of forgot suddenly.
Anyway, the Sec ones had already started their warmup while Jeremy and the others watched the match. And it was 9.51am when that group finally started their warmup. So there were two circles of people doing warmups and both groups look as bored as if they've been doing nothing but stretching for the last two hours.
AND GUESS WHAT! Remember there's a coach? All these while, the coach just sat at his comfortable chair changing his bloody shoes. Who cares about the players? Duh, no one!
Okay anyway, so they ran, and I was thinking, "Oh so finally they're running." Time? 9.53am. (The B division had only 2 minutes of stretching. I seriously wondered which part of their body they stretched.) And so they ran, ran ran, stopped. Stopped? Yea stopped. 5 rounds of the hall for warmup. Since when there's such a bargain? Alright then, blame the coach, because he was the one who said 5 rounds, and obviously the whole team jumped at the chance.
Whatever then. Start the training. I can't wait to see the magnificent training man. I got sick after looking at the coach who's more helpless than Spiky since no one cares to even look at him, except the Sec ones, who are looking at the coach as if he's a performing animal at the zoo, totally amused by whatever DUMB jokes he's trying to crack. So I went to play with the wall.
At 10.08am, the B boys (Jeremy, Choonheng, Jason, Nigel, Junhe, Daryl) started leaving the hall. Jaslyn asked them where they're going and they gave their reason for leaving the hall.
I tell you. It's The Reason okay. The R-E-A-S-O-N. Best in Singapore and JB. Some say Batam, Bintan, Lindan, whatever. It's such a perfect reason I can't think of anything to say to counter it. It just totally shocked me so much that I felt as if a jellyfish had stung me and I'm as paralysed as the wall I've been playing with.
They are going.......... -DRUMROLLS- for breakfast! WOW! Breakfast DURING training! WOW WOW WOW!!!!! O_O
Jeremy: We're going for breakfast.
Jaslyn: BREAKFAST?!?! (She wasn't as stunned as me and could actually gasp!)
Jeremy: They all haven't eat breakfast yet...
Jaslyn: During training?!
Jeremy: The coach also nothing much one mah.. Aiyah, he won't care one lah.
Jaslyn: Wow. Amazing. Great attitude huh.
Me: (after recovering from the shock) Captain go eat breakfast, then the juniors stay here for what. All go eat breakfast lah. Don't come back so early arh. Go lah, just go.
So all the B boys left for breakfast, at 10.08am when it's 48 minutes into training and all they had done for the last 48 minutes was running 5 rounds and whine and whine about having breakfast. Fine.
I continued to play with the wall and then finally the coach called for us to help train four B girls.
Coach (I hate to call him coach but nevermind): You spar with this four.
Jaslyn: Okay... So what you want me to do with them?
Coach: Anything! You can do A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G with them!!
Jaslyn: Can I throw them out of the window?
Coach: (not detecting the no-joke in that joke) Hahahahaha.
Wow. The school pays him to come here and make everybody do anything, including having breakfast. Pay me then, I can do just as well.
Okay, so he took care of one huge group of Sec ones and all he did with them was teaching them how to hold a racket and then playing with one student and the rest just sit on the stage and stone. Jaslyn and I took the remaining two courts and did drills with the four B girls. Melvin realises he's the odd one out because he's not exactly a B boy since he's only Sec one, but his skills are too good plus he doesn't look at all like a Sec one. So he felt awkward there with all the B boys gone. So he went to join the B boys for breakfast. Tell me more about peer influence.
At around 11am, the boys came back. Bad me didn't have a red or gold carpet to welcome them back. No wait, I can't be sacarstic. I should be thankful that they bother to come back at all.
Me: So fast come back already? Breakfast eat so fast arh? Why never eat a little longer?
Jeremy: (silence)
Me: Why never eat until lunchtime then eat lunch together?
Jeremy: (silence)
Me: Take your time mah. Eat so fast for what? Slowly eat lah.
Jeremy: (silence)
11am. And where's Fiona anyway? Her headache fried her EZ-link card? I thought I heard she's coming at 10 plus? Or was I too fed up with everything that I imagined it?
I sat at the chair with Jaslyn and Ruth standing behind, and we talked about what we've gotten ourselves into today. We talked about this that morning at Downtown east too didn't we. With Weeyang, Spiky, Laoren and half a Jaslyn. This was what we were talking about yea. Where's Weeyang anyway, he's abandoned us because he's clever enough to realise there's no real training today.
Jaslyn: Last night I asked Yongyuan over MSN whether he coming training and you know what he said?
Me: What.
Jaslyn: He said he see the juniors' attitudes he also sian already.
11.52am. Guess who came! Zonghan aka the Captain of Sec2 boys! Early seh. Eh, that was supposed to be sacarstic, why isn't he feeling guilty? Oh yah! No one bothers to care anymore! Sorry I keep forgetting.
12.01pm. Isn't that... Fiona? Three and a half hours, I hope her headache's okay now. I'm kind of looking forward to more hilarious reasons for her latecoming or not coming at all in the next trainings. Not that I'll bother to go for anymore. I'll find out from Jaslyn, who's actually going for tomorrow's training! A round of applause for her man! (Note, she's going because Melissa and probably Perlin are coming down to the school tomorrow.)
Well, at least she made it for lunch. But she didn't have lunch. Maybe she ate already. Maybe she had to eat lunch at home so that her headache will go away, well I don't know. Or maybe she forgot she's having tournament next year. Maybe the headache's so serious she forgot she's not a Sec4 yet. Or maybe it's simply because, no one bothers to care anymore! Yeah.
After lunch, Bryan the Sec one boy appeared out of nowhere. Kudos to the ever daring Latecomer. You rock.
Who cares if we spend the time playing Polar Bear during training? No one! Duh! No one bothers to care anymore what.
So, training that's so not training ended.
Dear juniors, I really have no right to care because I've graduated and who gives a damn about what I see of you all right now. It's easy for me to say because I aren't doing any drills. But dear you, if doing the drills with you means you'll do it as seriously as I will, I will gladly do it with you, even if it includes PT like shuttle run or footwork. We don't mind, or at least I don't mind.
But that's not the case here is it. Tell me it isn't. Tell me you've been putting all you have into every training now. Tell me the breakfast thing is a joke and you all only went out to run to train your stamina. Tell me your menses is hurting 7 hours straight and you can't even stand to practise your netting, that's why you skipped the training. Tell me the team's not crumbling. Because I bet it with my last fifty cents it is.
We haven't said anything because we don't want to hurt the friendship we do have with you. We felt this long ago, no, I should use I. Because I don't know about the others, but at least I felt this way. We dare not speak up because we know there'll be hard feelings no matter what. And even though we're leaving the school, we still want to remain friends.
Don't you boys get it. You aren't training so that you can win in the tournament. You're training so that you at least put up a good fight in front of your opponents, and not shame your school. And not shame yourself. And not shame your team. So what if YOU THINK there's no hope in the team. You're training so that you can play as best as you could, even if it means you get thrashed, at least you can answer up to yourself and rest of the team.
Don't tell me it's because there's no decent coach there to train you. If the lousy coach tells you to run five rounds, you can always run what you think is enough if you've the discipline to do so.
But what for am I saying all these now. No one bothers to care anymore yo. Even if you're the best, it won't hurt to become better.
And have you forgotten what Yongyuan said. Ying yao ying de qian xu, shu yao shu de guang rong. Have you forgotten that too. And all that you remember now is the corners to cut and the lunchtime.
All you remember now is playing Captains' Ball. Because Captains' Ball train the running, yet another thing we can't understand.
It's all too late already aren't it. Tomorrow's the last training for the holidays. Tell the umpire you have menses or you have headache and see if they'll cut you some slack. Tell the umpire you want some breakfast, tell the umpire it's lunchtime.
This is my blog and there's nothing you can do about what I feel, that's similar to your trainings and there's nothing we can do about how you train. So too bad, everything's lost and yet still, no one bothers to care.

Yah, so I was pissed and I guess if I'm to read through what I've typed, I'll be pissed again. Anyway, I sent this Notepad document to the salt monster yesterday, and I asked her if I should post this, and she said yah, though not many people are going to read it. (Actually even if she said no, I'll still post it. I just asked for er fun.) So tartah, you can't tag to defend yourself because 1. the tagboard is down and 2. you've nothing to say. Muahaha.
Last night I had four nightmares in a row and all of them are scary enough to be made into a film enough to scare Layjia into fainting.
The first one was about walking around this haunted place with gillian and Chunying. -.- Somehow we were in this place that has rust all over its copper walls. So the atmosphere's tense and I felt like I was acting in a horror movie. There was a scene where I went to the toilet and the rest waited for me outside. So I went into the toilet and I saw Meiching inside. -.- She was wearing her school uniform and she was washing her hands at the basin. So anyway I said hello to her and asked her what's she doing in a haunted house. -.-
And then she went, "What do you think I can be doing in a haunted house?" I didn't know what to say but I thought she sounded unfriendly. -.- So I left her in the toilet, and came out complaining to Chunying and gillian that Meiching is acting weird in the toilet. They didn't believe what I said, as in the part about Meiching being in the toilet, so we went into the toilet together but there's no one there. Then the lights went out and it was pitch dark and we couldn't find each other, let alone find our way out.
Chunying was screaming and screaming about something getting into her hair and then suddenly the lights came on and Chunying had a head of live earthworms for hair. (OH MY GOD. SORRY CHUNYING I DREAMT ABOUT SUCH THINGS.) She turned and saw what was in the mirror and screamed like mad. Then gillian and I stood there and didn't know what to do.
Then I grabbed Chunying by her hand and the three of us dashed for the door. But then there's no more door. The toilet door was gone and there's only walls. And then suddenly I realise I'm grabbing onto something slimy and I turned to see I'm grabbing onto a gigantic earthworm that has replaced Chunying's hand. (I'm really sorry Chunying, I have no control over my dream.) And Chunying's face... The skin is already earthworm skin.
And then I screamed and screamed and screamed and then gillian says something's got into her hair too. So yah, she had earthworms for hair too. And then suddenly there are two of Chunyings in the earthworm mode, and then four, then eight, then more and more. And gillian slowly morph into the earthworm mode, and then two of gillians, four, eight, more and more. Until I'm surrounded by Chunyings and gillians in the earthworm monster mode and I'm squashed in between earthworm and earthworm skins.
That was one hell of a nightmare.
I can't remember much about the rest but they're really scary too. One was about a child ghost that died because his heart was outside his body. And somehow it got onto me and it kept asking me to take his heart away every night, until I couldn't take it any longer and tore its heart from its body. But then it grew a new heart at the hole. And the heart I tore from its body was stuck at my chest. Then it laughed and told me now we're of the same kind. And that soon I'll grow to look exactly like him too, and that was how he died, because he tore a heart when he was a human too...
I got so scared when I finally awoke last night that I didn't even dare to get out of bed even though I can't get back to sleep. Ah.
Caught Night at The Museum anyway. Rather good. Not as bad as Ruth had said it'll be (because the magazine rated it one and a half stars).
Bye bye.
